ZDHC, which takes the initials of the words ZERO DISCHARGE OF HAZARDOUS, focuses entirely on the textile, leather industry, shoe industry. We, as Ekol Certification, offer our consultancy services for Zero Discharge of Hazardous Wastes, covering the entire life cycle of chemicals known as hazardous, to raise environmental awareness in the industry, to improve the supply chain and to emphasize transparency.
Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals
It is known that over 10 million tons of chemical products & chemicals are used annually only in the production processes in the textile sector. The reason for the use of so many chemicals in this sector is to obtain the colors, functions and effects on fabrics or other textile products. If these chemicals used in textile factories are used inappropriately or incorrectly, their mixing with the waste water of the factories and their discharge causes a problem not only in the country but also in the world.
It would be better to join the ZDHC program, which aims to have an international impact on the prohibition & restriction of hazardous chemicals through the Restricted Substance Production List (MRSL), and to produce with environmentally friendly products. If you want to take your place among factories and brands that value ecological balance and comply with environmental commitments, you can get support from us for ZDHC compliance.
IT IS AIM TO MINIMIZE THE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT
Within the scope of a recent study with Greenpeace, TEXTILE production ranks first among the sectors with the highest use of chemicals in the world. Some studies are carried out for the purification of textile products manufacturers from hazardous substance chemicals. In this context, it is important to minimize the level of environmental pollution such as wastewater and treatment sludge and to ensure sustainability in the supply chain. Within the scope of zero discharge of hazardous wastes, the use of all chemicals that are discharged to the outside, which are called hazardous, is taken under special investigation by ZDHC and many attempts are made.

What is the ZDHC Gateway Laboratory Admissions Program?
Thanks to the ZDHC Gateway Laboratory Acceptance Program, the program has been developed to examine the analyzes and to perform the wastewater and sludge analyzes in the wastewater module correctly. In this process, temporary acceptance status is obtained. In case of temporary acceptance, the system, which has a validity of 365 days from the date of acceptance, will allow you to enter the model. You can browse the reporting limits and all the parameters to be analyzed on the ZDHC website. We would like to convey that these details are publicly available in the WASTE WATER Guide. Ekok Certification, which dominates the sector and has previously provided consultancy to many companies on ZDHC, will assign you all the requirements. In order to get the best offers in this field, you can call us and get the best prices from our company.
In our laboratories accepted for ZDHC, analyzes of wastewater and sludge are carried out depending on the details of the wastewater module. These analyzes are uploaded to the GATEWAY system. Taking samples of the factories for wastewater tests will be the first step of this process. It is important to look for some standards in the quality of the wastewater leaving the factory and to evaluate it according to the ZDHC rules.
For ZDHC, which we have included in the scope of sustainability consultancy for a better future, you can meet with our consultants on the site after you review all this information.
